With the advent of alpha-numeric paging and hand held computing devices, wireless messaging was becoming more popular, and Lotus wanted to leverage this opportunity. They retained us to develop a marketing campaign to use the Web as well as traditional print materials to generate leads and deliver the leads to Lotus business partners who would actually fulfill orders and maintain customer relationships.
X Files and various outer-space shows were quite popular, so we built a similar theme in Lotus' Web site and the collateral materials. We created space ships beaming messages through a Pager Gateway, a Smart Beaming Transporter and catchy copy to guide people to key product information and customer stories.
The result: you guessed it, another successful mission. The Lotus Federation high command were quite happy. Prospects went traveling at warp speed through consistent and cohesive Pager Gateway information. Lotus business partners received (and closed) a universe of new leads. And we're off to other adventures. Beam us up, Scotty.
